Common questions

How do I restore my purchases on a new phone?

Open Cutup, go to Settings > Shop, and tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account you bought them with.

Purchases apply when a reel is exported. Open the reel and export it again.

Songs from streaming services are copy-protected and cannot be added to a video by any app. Use a track from the Cutup music library, or import an audio file you own from the Files app.

Yes, through your own iCloud. When your iPhone is signed in to iCloud, your reels, the clips you imported into them and your saved athlete details appear on every iPhone signed in to the same Apple Account, and come back if you delete and reinstall Cutup. Cutup can't see them. Turn it off or check its status in Cutup's Settings > iCloud.

Your reels are safe on this iPhone, but they stop syncing until there is room. Free up space or get more in Settings > your name > iCloud. Syncing picks up again by itself.

Clips picked from Photos stay in Photos; Cutup doesn't copy them. On another device Cutup finds them through iCloud Photos, so turn on iCloud Photos on both devices. Or open the reel on the device where you added the clip, tap and hold the reel in My Reels, and choose Copy clips into reel: the clips are copied into the reel and sync like imported files (they use iCloud space).

The original was deleted from your Photos library or is only in iCloud. Connect to Wi-Fi and open the reel so the clip can download, or tap the clip to replace it.

Keep Cutup open until the export finishes, and make sure your phone has free storage. Very long reels need several gigabytes free.

On your iPhone, open Settings > your name > Subscriptions > Cutup, and cancel. The page stays up until the end of the period you paid for.

In Cutup, open Player Page > Page settings. "Unpublish" hides the page and keeps your work. "Delete page and data" removes everything immediately.

It is out by default. Search listing is only on if you turned on "Allow search engines" in Page settings.
